Kerbside Palletised Delivery
Any order will need to be palletised. We operate a sliding scale so charges for additional pallets will decrease as the total number of pallets increases. Palletised deliveries are manoeuvred using a wheeled pallet truck and are delivered to the nearest accessible point (this may be the kerbside).
Hazards or obstructions such as steps, uneven or gravel paths/driveways may mean that delivery has to be made to an alternative location nearer to the delivery vehicle. Due to insurance guidelines, all deliveries are made kerbside, to the nearest access point of the delivery address. You must arrange for adequate help to off-load your products and carry them into site.
Time of delivery
We are happy to give our customers the option to choose a convenient delivery date. We will do our best to accommodate this and will confirm so with the customer. However, if the date of choice is not available, we will arrange for an alternatively suitable date.
Deliveries will be made between 8am and 6pm. We are unable to give an estimate of your delivery time as all deliveries are at the couriers’ discretion. You may however, ask for a specified timed slot at an extra cost:
mornings (till 1pm) or evenings (1-6pm) delivery: extra £36 (inc. VAT)
Saturday morning delivery: extra £62 (inc. VAT)
If a transport company arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because there is no one on site or you are not able to carry the goods in, you will be liable for a re-delivery charge of £90 (inc. VAT). If the original order had a delivery surcharge, then this will also apply in addition to the aforementioned re-delivery charge.
In case of a refused delivery, you will also be liable for any additional direct costs that we incur as a result.
As some circumstances cannot be foreseen and may affect deliveries, we advise not to book any traders for installation until products have been received. No liability can be accepted by us for costs caused by late deliveries, or for any other reason.
Deliveries cannot be left outside in porches, garages or any other location.
When your Order arrives
When your order arrives, you must ensure the quantities match what you have ordered. Please examine the pallet and count each item to make sure everything has been received. Every effort is made to ensure that your products are delivered in perfect condition, and all the couriers are selected by stringent guidelines to guarantee the best possible service and quality control.
In the unlikely event that any of your products arrive damaged, please notify the delivery driver immediately and sign the Proof of Delivery document, stating the quantity of the boxes that have been damaged.
Do NOT let the driver leave until you have verified the condition of the goods. If the driver refuses to wait for unpacking, please indicate in full on the delivery note: "the delivery man refused to attend the unpacking".
We stronglyadvise the client itself to be on the time of delivery, not just the Builders/Contractor.
Failure to comply with any of the above will result in a void claim. Due to the insurance liability, we cannot accept responsibility for any damaged items signed for as "clear", "unchecked" or in "good condition".
It is very important to follow these recommendations so that we can provide the best service. Tiles are heavy, fragile items and it is important that the carrier (it's not our own vehicles) does not clear itself of its responsibilities.
For the items that we stock in the UK (highlighted as "Delivery 3 days") collections are possible from our Redditch warehouse (Unit 31, Crossgate Road, Park Farm Industrial Estate, B98 7SN) by prior arrangement with us via email (normally with a minimum of 48 hours notice). Please ensure that goods are collected in a vehicle capable of being loaded by fork-lift and able to transport your order safely and securely. Collected goods must be inspected at point of collection and are transported at the client’s own risk.
Due to the variation which occurs with natural stone, ceramic, porcelain, decorative & glazed materials we operate a non-return policy. It should be noted that any surplus tiles are worth keeping as they will be from the same batch as your original material and can be utilised should any damage occur after the tiles have been installed.
