Natural stone materials for Outdoor spaces have been the norm until recently. With the most popular being Limestone, Slate, Sandstone, Granite, even Marble. However, Porcelain is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to natural stone.
Let’s take Natural Slate as an example: a beautiful material, however it is not practical at all. Despite all of the positive attributes that natural stone flooring has to offer, we believe that porcelain is more preferable for Outdoor spaces. The quality of slate tiles can be inconsistent from batch to batch. IvySpace porcelain tiles are fired at high temperatures, vitrifying the material and creating incredibly dense and strong tiles.
Porcelain paving has very low porosity, which means no stains, no water damage, and no need for sealing.
Unlike traditional stone pavers, the quality of our porcelain slabs does not diminish over time, making it more durable and more economical in the long run.
Here we have summarised the main benefits of using porcelain tiles for your exterior spaces:
Poolsides, garden walkways, relaxation areas, patios: our products can be installed in any outdoor setting, using a variety of laying systems on gravel, sand, slabs, grass or raised floors.
